Jonathan Mawhinney started racing at age 12 and has earned multiple championships across different divisions and disciplines with over 70 wins and 100+ top 5's.

Races are meant to challenge you, and that challenge is a big part of why he races. It’s about beating your time, seeing what your car can do, and pushing boundaries you’ve never known existed. New tracks, new opponents, and varying conditions make for a different challenge each time he races. Nothing beats the feeling of giving it all you have in a competitive atmosphere and winning championships.

However, as competitive as it is, community and family are a huge part of my racing program. Community and family are so important to Jonathan. Each racer has at least one thing in common with you; the love for racing. Everyone is supportive, helpful, and fun-loving in a racing atmosphere. His family has been following me to races from the beginning when he was twelve years old.

Community and family expose racers to other aspects of racing and makes us feel closer to the sport.

2025 Goals: 

Jonathan hopes to compete at the highest Pro Late Model Racing level in the Spears Southwest Tour Series and locally in Las Vegas at the LVMS Bullring. He is also looking forward to competing in IMCA Dirt Modified Series in 2025 and beyond
